  • Trekking
    Those visitors to Tinos who do not get separated from their car for a few hours to indulge in walking, will miss some of the most beautiful routes of the island. Trekking covers distances of 4.7 to 14.2 kilometers and many of them start from Tinos Town, revealing enchanting landscapes.
  • Climbing
    Tinos is one of the most famous climbing destinations in Europe! The village of Volax and the rock of Xomburgos have many routes for secured climbing but also climbing without a rope, available depending on the weather conditions.
  • Running
    An institution on the island in recent years, the Tinos Running Experience is organized in June and includes a 21 km half marathon, as well as shorter distance races. The route for the half marathon starts from the open-air theater of the village of Volax and crosses the villages of Skalados, Krokos, Komi and Kalloni to reach Tinos Town.
  • Cycling
    The first cycling marathon in Tinos is already a fact and is about to be established. A 30 km route from Pyrgos to the old port is an opportunity for visitors to discover the natural landscape & the picturesque villages, while gazing at the Aegean.
  • Horse Riding
    Tourist riding is the ideal activity for people of all ages who want to get close to nature. Wander through natural landscapes, on a horse, discover traditional villages such as Kardiani, Ysternia and historic chapels & live an unforgettable experience.
  • Sailing
    A well-hidden part of the island is waiting for you to explore it… by sea! Visitors, who have or can rent a boat, should not miss the opportunity to get to know a different Tinos. Beaches hardly accessible or even inaccessible by car such as Aspros Gialos, Vathi, Kousinia, Fourni, Platis Gialos and Mantroklisi as well as caves & picturesque coves are some of the secrets of the island that one can discover.
  • Boat Tours
    114 kilometers of coastline are waiting for you to explore! With daily itineraries in the North, South part of the island or making the circumnavigation of Tinos you have the opportunity to see beaches such as Pachia Ammos, Kolymbithra, Kavalourko, Malli, Rohari and Spilaia. The trip ends with a stop in selected places to enjoy traditional food by the sea!
  • Diving
    The bottom of Tinos reserves great emotions for diving fans. Stavros, Livada, Vourni, Agios Romanos and Agios Sostis are some of the beach-accessible beaches that have great underwater wealth, ideal for related activities.
  • SUP
    The initials SUPs mean Stand up paddleboarding (in Greek “standing plank”). This is a sport that in recent years has made many surfers stand… on their own two feet! The natural bay of Panormos is protected from strong winds, thus creating the right conditions for activities such as surfing and SUP!
  • Surfing
    The earthly paradise of surfers is here! The fans of the sport have only to be informed about the weather and to visit beaches such as Megali Kolimbithra, Livada, Agios Fokas, Ag. Romanos or Ag. Ioanni (Porto). Those who would like to try surfing, Tinos is the ideal place for them to learn!

  • Tinos Festival
    One of the most famous festivals in Greece, with an international scope, the Tinos Festival organizes every summer concerts with famous artists, dance and theatrical performances for people of all ages, exhibitions and training workshops.
  • Traditional Festivals
    Whatever period you are on the island, you will probably fall into one of the many festivals that combine the religious feeling of the locals with the need for socialization & expression. A party with island instruments, traditional dances and local flavors, is one of the most authentic Tinian experiences that the visitor can experience.
  • Off Road Adventures
    For the “jeep lovers” there are interesting 4X4 routes and points for climbing and down-hill (Xombourgo, Volax).
